Cover

The insurance policies offered for stress-free holidays:

• Civil Liability (without excess) - legal aid, representation and protection
• Compensation for personal injury caused to the driver
• Damage to the vehicle with excess. This guarantee is applicable in the event of any accidental damage to the vehicle and its accessories (non-standard and fixed elements) theft, breach of trust, fire, vehicle damage following a crash and any other event that may be from an accidental nature.
• Glass breakage with excess on the front windows, side windows, rear windows, or skylights.
• Theft of goods capped at €1500;
• Breakdown without an excess
• Stolen keys.

Excess

The insurance excess is deducted from the costs of the damage (including theft and breach of trust) done to the insured rental vehicle.

The default excess is €2000 and can be reduced to €1000 during the booking process.

• An excess of €350 is applicable for damage caused by the forces of nature (falling rocks, falling stones, landslides, avalanches, snow pressure, hurricanes, storms with a wind speed of at least 80 km/hour, hail, tidal waves or floods, earthquakes) as well as damage caused by a collision with a wild or domestic animal;
• An excess of €180 is applied in the event of 'glass breakage';
• The excess applied per incident for transported objects is €125.

Terms

Compliance requirements for the owners' vehicles according to the insurance plan:

• Vehicle with a gross vehicle weight < 3.5 T Cost value < €110 000 ;
• Regular and thorough technical checks of the vehicle carried out according to regulations.

Conditions for vehicle renters/drivers according to the insurance plan.

• Must be at least 26 years old ;
• Must have held a Category B driving licence for at least 3 years
• That they have held vehicle insurance for at least 3 years
• That no serious damage has been caused to the vehicle in the last 36 months (honoured commitment from the owner/renter).

Use

Cover for private/recreational travel, excluding any expensive transport of persons and/or goods. The following trips are authorised for a maximum of 90 days:

In any countries of the European Union, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Principalities of Andorra and Monaco, the Vatican City, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Ukraine, San Marino, the Republic of Serbia, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Switzerland, Morocco, Tunisia and Turkey, as well as in any country determined by the King in accordance with Article 3 § 1 of the Law of 21 November 1989.

Exclusions

This covers damage in the event of an accident, i.e. resulting from an accidental, sudden and unforeseen incident that occurred during the rental of a vehicle rented through Yescapa and whose repair costs exceed the amount of the insurance excess subscribed.

Damage excluded:

• damage caused to the vehicle components as a result of wear, mechanical defect or structural defect;
• damage caused or aggravated by a mechanical defect;
• damage caused or aggravated by the objects or animals transported, their unloading and overloading of the vehicle;
• damage that falls under the Terms of the fire guarantees, theft, glass breakage, force of nature and animals;
• damage to tyres, unless it has been caused in conjunction with other covered damage or which are the result of vandalism;
• damage caused or aggravated by a misfuelling or poor quality fuel.
