Want freedom without the hassle of a large motorhome but with room for 5? (Yes I said 5 !!! Rare pearl !!) After testing a VW California we fell in love with the Hymer Sydney, it's the same concept but larger and higher, allows traffic (and a passage from day mode to night mode ...) in the closed vehicle (and without lowering the passengers), parks in a normal place (less than 5m long), drives like a big car but with a dominant position.

Technical: 2.3 MultiJet 150 horsepower engine, length 4.96m, width 2.05m, height 2.35m, consumption between 8 and 10 liters depending on the route.

The storage and kitchen allow an autonomy of 3/4 days, the vehicle has a lithium battery and a solar panel.

The fridge (real compression fridge, like at home) is 65 liters and can make ice cubes in its freezer compartment.

Everything you need to eat at 5 is provided, (including the garden furniture which you can enjoy under the awning in the event of a Normand drizzle or blazing sun! 😜), specific fitted sheets also. All that's missing is your duvets and pillows!

The Hymer Sydney (called Alphonse here!) Can accommodate 5 adults for the night with a very atypical modularity: double main bed in the heated 150x202cm pop-up roof, 137x193cm double rear bed or 2 single L-shaped beds, one of which is very long) but the 5th sleeper must measure less than 1.60m to be able to be comfortably seated in the specific bed placed on the front seats.

Stationary heating programmable on the vehicle's diesel fuel.

Blackout blinds on all openings, sliding door mosquito net.

high ceiling height (2m30) and feeling of space inside when the roof and the main bed are raised.

Ideal vehicle for backpacking families up to 3 children.

We are a 10-minute walk from Caen train station and can pick you up there, and your vehicle can be parked in a closed garage if necessary.

PS: we are already rather in demand on rentals so we prefer long rentals for the summer period (ideally 10-15 days minimum). We try to keep everyone happy while keeping the use of this beautiful vehicle a little ^^
