About this converted van
Our self built camper Fritz is a cozy Ford Transit from 2003.
We believe this way of traveling is ideal to visit the Alsace region and nearby countries: Germany and Switzerland. Whether you want to stay in town or to hit the less touristic paths, you can take Fritz everywhere. Sleeping by the lakes, in the mountains, in the middle of the forest...It all becomes possible!
Inside you will find a big double bed (1,70m *1,50m), a sitting area and a fully equipped kitchen with a small fridge and a gas stove. The height is about 1,70m inside and 2,20m overall.
We recently installed a solar system for extra comfort and practicality. This enables you to have light (;!) but also use a small fridge and plug your phones and computers. There is also an external plug that you can use for more power in campings.
We have a water tank with 12 liters that last about 2 to 3 days on average and a solar shower can be used while standing outside.
The van is big enough to have space but small enough that you can easily and conveniently drive around without worrying too much about how much space you take ;-)
Regarding the vehicle itself, it has a diesel motor and consumption is about 9L/100km.
Mechanically, it's working very well and is easy to drive.

Cancellation terms
In the event of a cancellation, the reimbursement terms vary depending on the date on which the booking was cancelled.
The booking is confirmed
If the cancellation is 30 days or more before departure, you will be reimbursed 70% of the rental cost (insurance and service fees excluded).

If less than 30 days before departure, no reimbursement will be possible, the total amount of the transaction is due.

Flexible cancellation due to cases of force majeure
If you are unable to travel due to a force majeure, you can benefit from adapted cancellation conditions. They allow you to postpone your trip at no cost.
The owner's remuneration will be refunded within 10 days after your cancellation. You will be able to use the remaining balance on your next booking, for the vehicle of your choice.

We are a french/german couple renting our beautiful camper Fritz.
We have been living on the island since last March after a visit and we just decided to stay :-)
Having a van is, in our opinion, truly the best way to discover the island as Tenerife has such incredible diversity!
The camper is very cosy and spacious with loads of storage room.
