Pal's Low profile motorhome

This is a 2019 6 berth/6 seatbelt Elddis Autoquest 196 with low miles, spacious family motorhome, with 3 double beds and plenty of storage with overhead/under seat cabinets and a good sized wardrobe.

Based in Stirling, we are perfectly located as a starting point for road trips all over Scotland. Our low profile motorhome sleeps and travels up to 6 people so perfect for families, small groups or couples looking for comfort, space and luxury.  Set up for both on-site camping but also fully self-sufficient with gas, leisure battery and solar panel for wild/off grid camping. The heating system works on both gas and electric and will keep you warm in low temperatures.

Included in the hire price is fully comprehensive insurance and breakdown cover. We ensure our motorhome is safe and in good working order by maintaining services, habitation checks and gas safety certificates. You’ll also find a first aid kit, fire extinguisher, fire blanket, carbon monoxide and smoke alarm. 

Cabin Area: Outstanding drive performance Turbo Diesel for better fuel efficiency with 6 speed manual gearbox. The front cabin area has reverse camera with virtual rear view mirror, air conditioning, airbags and cruise control, as well as DAB radio, Bluetooth and USB. There is also an alarm system which covers both the front cabin and living area.

Sleeping Areas: The large front dinette turns into a double bed with a second electric drop-down double bed above (kids will love sleeping on it). The rear lounge which can be used as a separate area to relax and dine in also turns into a huge double bed or two singles. This can also be sectioned off from the rest of the living area for privacy. Fly screens and blinds all round, including door fly screen. We know that many people like to take their own towels and bedding so we do not include these as standard, but can provide at an extra cost.

Bathroom: The modern bathroom has an electric flush toilet, power shower, stylish sink and 100L fresh water tank. Includes shampoo, shower gel, hand wash and toilet rolls.

Kitchen Area: The family sized kitchen comes fully equipped with fridge/freezer (runs on vehicle battery whilst in motion, 230v mains, or gas.), kettle, toaster, microwave, oven and grill, three gas hobs/one electric hob and sink. We aim to make it feel like home away from home so include: Juice Glasses, Tea/Coffee mugs, Cutlery, Plates, Bowls. Pan, Chopping boards, Stove top kettle, Tea, Coffee & Sugar pots. Oven Trays. Tea Towels. Cutlery drainer  Draining board. Cooking Utensils including Ladles, Tongs, Pizza Cutter, Scissors, Cheese Grater, Can Opener, Potato Peeler, Bottle Opener, Sharp Knives. Cleaning kit containing, Toilet chemicals and brush, multi-purpose spray cleaner, microfiber cloths, dustpan and brush, Multi-Purpose Wipes, Bin Bags, Washing up Liquid.

She is a big lady and much wider and longer than any car. She is our family motorhome so please look after her. No smoking or vaping in motorhome. Comes with a full tank of diesel and return it with full. Toilet cassette to be emptied and the grey waste water tank be emptied. Best done on Camp Site as you're leaving. Allow time for the pre-hire demonstration, and similar on return. So please be on time and ensure she is clean and tidy ready for the next family. Any damage must be paid for from deposit.

Insurance Terms: Our insurers will provide cover for driver(s) age 27 to 60 with minimum 3 years full licence (You don’t need a special licence, just a standard car licence.). We need to take a copy of your photo driving licence is required along with DVLA licence check for each driver if you have british licence. Plus we need to take a copy of 2 utility bills dated no more than 90 days before the hire date for each driver. Permissible bills (in addition to one utility bill / statement): Council Tax bill / statement, TV / internet / landline telephone bill, bank statement, credit card statement, mortgage statement. The address on the bills must match the address on the driving licence(s). No driving convictions resulting in licence suspension or more than 6 penalty points on the licence.

This motorhome is not suitable for NC500 and outer Hebrides.
