Things to keep in mind during my trip

Don't forget that a motorhome or campervan is a lot bigger than a regular car. It is highly recommended to perform a practice test with the owner (in a car park for instance) in order to get used to the bigger size and especially the height.

When you're driving at high speed, be aware of strong winds, especially when overtaking on a motorway.

Remember that a motorhome should never be parked on a slope or an incline. If you absolutely have to, make sure to use specific car wheel chocks.

Empty your wastewater in designated areas only. Note that on average, you should empty the wastewater every 2 or 3 days.

Check the fluid levels and tyre pressure of your vehicle frequently, either every 2 days or every 500km if you are taking a long trip.

Refill the water tank and charge the battery regularly to avoid any shortage.

Lastly, we remind you that correct weight distribution is crucial in regards to the brakes, the general handling the vehicle and to save fuel.
