What you need to know about roads and motorways in Drenthe

Drenthe is served by the A28 running north–south and the A37 heading east, both toll-free — in fact, the Netherlands has no toll roads for standard vehicles. Motorhomes under 3,500 kg follow the same speed limits as cars: 100 km/h on motorways during the day and 130 km/h where signed. Heavier motorhomes (over 3,500 kg) are limited to 80 km/h on most roads and 90 km/h on motorways.
