Molise's main motorway is the A14 Adriatica, which runs along the coast near Termoli and connects to the wider Italian toll network. Tolls are paid at booths by cash, card, or Telepass device. Inland, the region relies on well-surfaced state roads such as the SS650 linking Termoli to Isernia. Speed limits for motorhomes over 3.5 tonnes are 80 km/h on dual carriageways and 100 km/h on motorways. Mountain roads in the Mainarde area can be narrow, so a campervan may be more comfortable than a larger motorhome on those stretches. Rest areas with basic facilities are available along the A14.
