What you need to know about roads and motorways in Dorset

Dorset has no motorways, so most travel is along A-roads such as the A35, A31, and A354. These routes are well maintained and generally comfortable for motorhomes, though some stretches pass through villages with narrower sections. Speed limits for vehicles over 3.05 tonnes are 50 mph on single carriageways and 60 mph on dual carriageways. There are no toll roads in Dorset.
